Shakir and Kadija Taylor are not the brightest bank robbers in the history of theft. The two of them walked into an M&T Branch and robbed it, then fled on foot. The problem is the bank was located on the same block as their house.
They walked into the branch located on the 3700 block of Forestville, MD and passed the teller a note asking for cash. They were quickly apprehended thanks to tips to the local Crime Solvers tip line. They were arrested in their home, needless to say.
This is probably not the only bank robbery they are guilty of committing. There is a rash of bank robberies in the area and investigators and trying to determine whether the two were involved in those as well.
