Man Superglues Himself to Airplane to Protest Climate Change

A British man by the name of James Brown was fed up with his country’s lack of efforts to mitigate climate change so he did what any of us would do. He went to London City Airport, climbed on top of a British Airways Jet, smeared himself with superglue and superglued his bare skinned body to the top of the airplane. James Brown is actually a well known blind paralympian from Northern Ireland. According to Wikipedia:

James Brown is a former Northern Irish paralympic-cyclist, who competed for Great Britain, Ireland, and Northern Ireland. He is visually impaired and participated in five Paralympic Games in various sports. Brown earned two gold medals at the 1984 Summer Paralympics in athletics and a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in the men’s road time trial with sighted pilot Damien Shaw.


After being removed from the plane, the plane now has to be inspected to see if the residual superglue will affect the aerodynamics of the aircraft. Enjoy these hilarious tweets:
